Lake Ontario's tributaries provide an excellent opportunity to catch trophy salmon, steelhead, and brown trout. The Salmon River is known for the biggest runs of steelhead, kings and cohos in the Great Lakes region. The Salmon River and its steelhead fishery is the primary target of SAS Guide Service and we offer guided wading trips from late August thru May on both the Salmon River and other Lake Ontario's tributaries.

What sets the SAS Guide Service apart is our individualized and educational approach to fishing. The focus is placed on teaching you fishing and rigging techniques. During the trip you will learn how to choose the right bait, how to read water and recognize fish habitats, and hopefully will leave with story or two to tell. We specialize in float fishing using light spinning or centerpin tackle. We don't fish for you; we teach you how to fish!
