SAS Guide Service specialized in light tackle
spin and center pin fishing techniques. We pride
ourselves in individualize approach geared towards
teaching you about the fisher and techniques.
We offer both waded and drift boat trips on
the Salmon River and Lake Ontario's tributaries.
Wade fishing on the Salmon River can be a great
way to learn specific sections of the river. Wade
fishing can be done at much more relaxed pace.
Sometimes, that is just what is needed. Drift boat
trips, on the other hand, allow to cover a lot of
water in relatively short period of time. Drift
boat enables you to get into place where bank
anglers often cannot. The river flows, weather,
and fish locations are normal determining factors
on deciding to wade or float fish.
All
tackle and bait is provided. We use top quality
equipment by TR Custom Rods, Temple Fork, Orvis,
Lamiglas, and Daiwa. Please feel free to bring you
favorite rod and reel.
A 2008 16'
customized Willie Boat is used for guided trip.
The boat is heated for your convienice.
We
do not have set fishing times. You choose when to
start and end the trip. Usually trips last at
least 8 hours.
SAS Guide Service does not
guarantee fish, but we will go an extra mile to
find them.
